The Swiss Association for Shared Parenthood presented its innovative draft law at a press conference today.
This should make joint custody a reality as a rule for all children, whether married or not. The association no longer speaks of parental care, but uses the term parental responsibility. This is intended to symbolize that it is not just about custody, but rather about taking responsibility for the child.
The Swiss Associations for Shared Parenthood is made up of over 15 different fathers' and parents' organizations from all language regions of Switzerland. In addition to the VeV, these include the Zurich team as well as the IGM Bern and many other important organizations.
With this association and the draft law presented, the organizations have achieved a great success.
