They tried!

Despite all the father's efforts, the courts have ruled against his children. Once again, they have placed a mother's right to her children above the children's right to their own free will.

This morning, the Aargau police attempted to remove the children. Initially, they proceeded as if dealing with dangerous individuals. The situation was only de-escalated after the arrival of the media, alerted by the father and representatives of the VeV (Association for the Protection of Children). Following lengthy negotiations between the parties, the deportation was ultimately prevented for the time being. The Bremgarten District Court is currently in session and will attempt to find a viable solution. It is hoped that the children will be able to remain in Switzerland.

We are very glad that the two boys are allowed to stay for the time being. However, we find it somewhat concerning that so much media attention is needed before the authorities are willing to find sensible solutions.
