Parent-child alienation is a sensitive but important topic.
The fact that far too many children lose contact with the other parent (usually the father) after separation cannot be explained away. Ultimately, it doesn't matter to the children whether these are conscious actions by one parent or the other or whether it just developed that way. However, where one parent actually tries to prevent contact with the other parent on their own initiative - our system should notice this and take corrective action accordingly. First and foremost, speed is essential because the process is often very quick and can hardly be reversed. Relevant statements from parents living separately should therefore be taken seriously.
