Encouraging news from Lausanne regarding shared custody:The Federal Supreme Court wants the implementation of shared custody to move forward.
Federal Judge Nicolas von Werdt even gives fathers hope that, under the right conditions, they could expect to be granted shared custody.
Of particular importance: obstruction – that is, litigation for the sake of litigation, with the aim of preventing shared custody – this obstruction should be recognized as such and no longer be sufficient grounds for refusal.
All in all, a clear contrast to the recently published guidelines of the Zurich courts – it's good to know that our highest court is acting as a corrective.
