The EKFF (Federal Commission for Family Affairs) has conducted a study examining the situation of separated parents.
The study, carried out by the Marie Meierhofer Institute in collaboration with the BASS office, shows that the well-being of children depends primarily on the quality of the parents' relationship and their ability to resolve conflicts, and does not differ from the well-being of children of parents who do not live separately.
The EKFF formulates 9 recommendations for professionals based on this.
