Today, the second chamber, the Council of States, also passed the bill on joint custody.
Our press release for today is attached.
By a vote of 40 to 0, with one abstention, the Council of States approved the proposal. Compared to the version passed by the National Council, the Council of States added several refinements and corrections, necessitating a so-called difference procedure.
This procedure will be prepared by the committees of both chambers in the coming weeks and then discussed again by both chambers during the summer session.
So, the situation remains interesting.
