I was finally able to watch the film a day late. I'm still completely shaken.
I've been dealing with these issues for 15 years. I've seen hundreds of fathers and mothers, witnessed their suffering, and experienced firsthand how hopeless their efforts for their children remained. I've seen authorities completely fail or simply be helpless.
We must finally start taking a close look. Alienationis quite simply child abuse; there's no way to sugarcoat it. Parents who do this, consciously or unconsciously, must be clearly informed and, in cases of repeated offenses, sanctioned. Authorities must develop clear guidelines on how to proceed in such cases. Early, rapid intervention is one of the key elements, and clear stances from the responsible authorities are another.
It's unacceptable that we expose children to such unspeakable situations for another 20 years without taking any action whatsoever. Our children deserve for the state to take a stand on this.
I will continue to work at all levels to create better conditions here so that future generations no longer have to have these sad experiences.
