The Legal Affairs Committee of the National Council approves parliamentary initiative 21.449!

The proposal by National Councillor Sidney Kamerzin (CVP / the center of Valais) reflects the current social climate and was therefore, thankfully, uncontested. The Legal Affairs Committee adopted the proposal unanimously with one abstention.

We are delighted with today's result, which sends a clear message.
Shared custody is only secondarily about money. The primary goal is to ensure the child has equal contact with both parents.
It is also about enabling women, in particular, to remain in or return to the workforce.

The umbrella organization GeCoBi and the western Swiss association CROP have outlined their position in a joint letter to the members of the commission.
