Those stuck in the past are positioning themselves against alternating custody.

"Because science is skeptical of shared custody..." writes the Tages-Anzeiger , forgetting that two scientists from a single university can hardly be considered representative of "science" as a whole.
There are countless studies worldwide that prove the opposite, demonstrating that shared custody is good for children, that it works even when one parent objects, and that, if properly implemented, it can only benefit everyone involved.
But, of course, "properly implemented" would mean that, heaven forbid, judges would have to attend continuing education courses on this topic, that they would have to engage with the current state of research, or even revise their own judgment.
